The Circle of Courage Tour Arrives at
Cape Reinga

Jake Ormsby: "Wow what a change from the roads of the South. Coupled with a drizzle we set out but the going was tough. The congested roads we found challenging from the onset and so extra care was required. We stopped at Raumati for a pit stop and a change of tyre, the first of three for me…a record. I couldn’t believe it as I had not suffered a flat tyre yet!"

Paul Rankin: "Every hill from then on Neone and I could be heard chanting "un-re-lent-ing un-re-lent-ing" as we tried to push the pedals over."

Rebekah Rankin: So here are the stats for the last time…

Day’s ridden 23

Km’s covered 2268

Flat tires 15

Pinged spokes 3

Crashes 3

Now it is your turn to be a part of the Circle of Courage … How?

Like the Nike slogan says

“Just do it”

The Circle of Courage project is about encouraging adults to make a difference in the lives of young people.

Get to know 5 young people by name.

Help them to experience:

Belonging: so they can say "I am loved."
Generosnoy: so they can say "I have purpose in life"
Mastery so they can say "I can succeed"
Independance so they can say "I have the power
to make decisions"

This will build resiliency in New Zealand young people

It's the lighthouse!

Jonathan and Jake celebrates

Just as it was at the beginning, so it shall be at the end
